I provide experienced and informed psychological treatment for adults and adolescents, near Herald Square and Koreatown.

My areas of specialty and interest include helping people improve their relationships, cope with grief and loss, and understand decisions about career moves and other life transitions, with a focus on assertiveness training when needed. This includes entrepreneurs and others interested in growing their business acumen. I also work well with those who tend to ruminate, finding themselves in patterns of self-critical and perfectionistic thinking. Finally, I focus on men's topics, and with those who know and interact with them.

I earned my graduate degree at the American School of Professional Psychology in Washington, DC, and completed the pre-doctoral internship at Green Chimneys School in Brewster, NY. Since then, my interests and studies include object relations theories, evolutionary psychology, gender issues, mindfulness practices, and the understanding of mind-body integration.

I participate in Give An Hour, a volunteer organization committed to providing mental health treatment to armed forces personnel, veterans and their families. I am also a member of Psychoanalysis (APA Division 39).
